I want you to be delighted with your purchase but recognise that there may be rare occasions when you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase. If this does happen, please contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
If you do wish to return one of your purchases, for a refund or exchange, you must contact me within 14 days of receiving the item. Once you have contacted me to begin the return, you will need to return the item to be within a further 14 days. The contact email address for returns is DerynBirdDesigns@gmail.com and full instructions including return postal address will be sent by reply.
For example, if you receive your purchase on 1st June and wish to return it, you will need to contact me at the above email address on or before 15th June and return the item within 14 days of that date.
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be:
• unused and in the same condition that you received them, an
• in the original packaging.
Some items are, unfortunately, non-refundable:
• Personal items, for hygiene reasons (this includes, but is not exclusive to, earrings for pierced ears)
• Bespoke deposits (typically 25% of the total cost of your item)
If 28 days have passed since you have received your item, I will be unable to accept any returns and therefore be unable to process a refund. You may still be eligible for an exchange and this will be confirmed when replying to your return email.
Please note, for items that are dispatched with a tracking reference, the 28 days will commence on the date delivery is confirmed. For non-tracked orders, 1st Class mail is considered to have been received on the 2nd working day after postage; for 2nd Class mail, items are considered to have been received on the 4th working day after postage.
Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. If the item is confirmed to be faulty, the cost of return shipping will be refunded. Please note, photographic evidence may be required to verify the faulty item.
For your own peace of mind, I recommend that you use a tracked mailing service with insurance when returning your item, this is required in the unfortunate case that you need to claim with the service provider due to it being lost or damaged via transit. Refunds will not be processed until the item(s) have been received.
Once I have received your item(s), I will confirm receipt to you by email and begin the inspection to verify its condition. Once inspected, I will contact you again to confirm the status of your refund or exchange.
If your return is approved, I will initiate a refund, within 7 working days, to your credit card (or original method of payment).
You will then receive the credit in line with your card issuers policies.
